A will is a written document that sets out how a person’s money and property is to be distributed after their death. A will allows a person to choose which individuals, organisations or companies will benefit from their estate, and to what extent.

Wills also allow persons to appoint Executors, individuals to look after their estate and see to its management and distribution, and Guardians, who look after any children under the age of 18.

If a persons dies without a will then their estate will not be distributed according to their wishes. Instead their estate will be intestate and the government will be in charge of distribution according to intestate rules (which may be in direct contrast to what the person would have wanted and would have provided for had they made a will).

This will is best suited for a single male or female without children but can also be used by a married male or female without children.
